Starter for Chinese trimmer / brushcutter BC415 + mounting plate

This BC415 starter – a non-original manual starting mechanism designed for compatible Chinese BC415 brushcutters and trimmers. The starter is supplied with metal engagement hooks and a separate mounting plate, so it can be used to replace a damaged or worn starter of the same design.

When the starter rope is pulled, the metal hooks engage with the corresponding part on the engine. This transmits rotational force to the crankshaft and allows the engine to be started. When the handle is released, the return mechanism rewinds the rope back into the housing.

However, markings for generic Chinese brushcutter models are not entirely standardized. Therefore, two devices labeled BC415 may have different starter housings, plates, or engagement mechanisms.

Mounting screws and other parts not shown in the photos should not be considered part of the kit.

Before installation, make sure the engine turns freely and that the part engaging with the starter is not damaged. Also remove grass residues and other dirt from the installation area.
