Piston kit for Chinese 5200 petrol chainsaw

The piston kit for a Chinese 5200 chainsaw is intended for compatible 52 cm³ two-stroke petrol chainsaws that use a piston with a 45mm diameter. This is a new „Winzor“ spare part, suitable to replace a worn, damaged or seized piston.

A worn piston or its rings can reduce compression, make the engine harder to start and reduce its power. The properly selected kit helps restore engine compression and stable operation.

Marking of Chinese chainsaw models is not standardized. Therefore, before ordering measure the old piston, its pin and the thickness of the rings. This kit fits only engines that use a 45mm piston and an 11mm pin.

If the cylinder surface is deeply scratched or heavily worn, choose the full 45mm cylinder and piston kit. You can find more repair components in the chainsaw spare parts category.

Before installation, clean the cylinder and crankcase. Lubricate the piston, rings, pin and cylinder walls with clean two-stroke engine oil. Align the ring gaps with the locating dowels in the piston, and fully insert both pin retainers into their grooves.

Also check the crankshaft seals, intake system, fuel mixture and carburetor adjustment. Air leaks or an overly lean mixture can quickly damage a new piston.
