    The carburetor controls the fuel and air mixture supplied to the engine. Therefore, a worn unit can make starting difficult, cause erratic idling, or prevent the engine from reaching operating RPMs.

    This version is not suitable for the Stihl MS180 2-MIX chainsaw, which uses a 1130 120 0612 type carburetor. For that model, choose the Stihl MS180 2-MIX carburetor.

    Before installation, compare the OEM number, fuel fittings, mounting holes and control levers. Also check the fuel lines, filter, air filter and intake connection. After installation, perform the final carburetor adjustment.
