Muffler kit for STIHL MS361 petrol / chainsaw (screws, gaskets)

This Stihl MS361 muffler kit is designed to replace a damaged, corroded or leaking exhaust system muffler. The kit fits Stihl MS341, MS361 and MS361C chainsaws. It corresponds to muffler number 1135 140 0650 / 11351400650.

The muffler directs exhaust gases away from the engine and reduces exhaust noise. A properly sealed joint also prevents hot gases from seeping past the edges of the cylinder's exhaust port.

This is a new Winzor aftermarket replacement kit, not an original Stihl part.

Before installation, wait until the engine and the old muffler have fully cooled. Remove any remnants of the old gasket and carefully clean the surface of the cylinder's exhaust port.

Place the cooling plate and the new gasket in the correct orientation. Then install the muffler and tighten both screws evenly. Unevenly tightened screws damage the gasket and cause exhaust gas leakage.

After installation, start the saw and check the joint for leaks. After the engine has cooled, recheck the mounting screws.
