Husqvarna 365 Damper Kit

These Husqvarna 365 dampers are an anti-vibration spring mounting kit for compatible professional-class Husqvarna chainsaws. The dampers connect the engine and fuel tank assembly to the handle system, reducing engine vibration transmitted to the handles.

The kit contains matched spring dampers mounted between the handle, cylinder area and fuel tank housing. They should be replaced when the handle moves excessively, the saw vibrates unusually strongly, or a damper spring breaks.

Inspection and installation

Before installation, check the handle, fuel tank housing and mounting threads. Also inspect the movement limiters and screws, as damaged surrounding parts can overload new dampers.

Fit each spring in its designated position. Screw the bolts in by hand first, then tighten evenly. Do not twist the springs during installation. After assembly, check that the handle moves evenly and does not touch the engine housing or the muffler.
