This Oleo-Mac gasoline chainsaw oil pump – an aftermarket part compatible with Oleo-Mac 937, 941, 947, 952 and GS 520 family chain saws.
In these models Oleo-Mac used two similar oil pump versions. This replacement pump fits models that use the original part numbers 50180007BR and 50170051BR.

50170051BROleo-Mac 937 and 941 C use the 50180007 series pump. Oleo-Mac 941 CX, 947, 952 and GS 520 use the 50170051 series pump.
Therefore, when checking an older saw it's worth looking not only at the model but also at the design of the old pump and the original part number.
Function of the Oil Pump
The oil pump supplies chain oil from the tank to the guide bar during operation. Proper lubrication is necessary for the chain, the bar and the drive sprocket.
When the pump is worn, it may:
Oil may no longer reach the guide bar
Lubrication may become uneven
Chain and bar may wear faster
The cutting mechanism may overheat
Oil leaks may appear around the pumpBefore replacing the pump also check the oil filter, hose, lubrication channels and the pump drive. A clogged oil channel can create the impression that the pump itself is faulty.
Installation
Before installation thoroughly clean the pump area of sawdust and dirt. Also check the drive mechanism and the oil hose.
After reassembling the saw fill it with chain oil and check the lubrication. A working pump should supply oil to the guide bar channel, and when the chain is rotated you should see normal oil delivery.
