Before installation, check the condition of the crankshaft, connecting rod, bearings and oil seals. During installation, point the piston arrow toward the exhaust port and align the ends of the rings with the locking pins.
After repair, check the engine for leaks and the carburetor adjustment. The correct fuel mixture helps protect the new cylinder from overheating.
