Chainsaw damper kit Husqvarna 137 \/ 142

The Husqvarna 137 damper kit is designed to repair the anti-vibration system of compatible chain saws. „Winzor“ kit replaces the rubber dampers and handle mounting elements that isolate the handles from engine vibration.

A properly functioning anti-vibration system reduces vibration transmitted to the handles, improves saw control and limits excessive movement between the engine, fuel tank housing and handles.

Wear is indicated by increased handle vibration, cracked or compressed rubber, looseness between housings and excessive handle movement.

Before repair disconnect the spark plug wire. Support the engine and handle housings and remove the old components. Clean the mounting areas and check that the plastic housings are not cracked.

Install each new component in the same position as the corresponding old part. Do not cut, twist or overstretch the rubber parts. After reassembling the saw check the handle fastening, fuel lines, wires and the throttle mechanism.
