Carburetor intake connector for STIHL MS170 / MS180 chainsaw (+ plastic rings)

The STIHL MS180 carburetor connector kit is designed to tightly join the carburetor to the cylinder. „Winzor“ non-original spare part fits STIHL 017, 018, MS170 and MS180 petrol chainsaws. It replaces the original part with number 1130 141 2200.

Through the carburetor connector the air-fuel mixture enters the engine. Therefore the connector must remain sealed and properly fastened. Due to engine heat, fuel and vibration the old connector can harden, crack or lose its seal.

A leaky intake system can make engine starting difficult, cause unstable idle, unintended RPM increase, or power loss.

Before ordering compare the shape of the old part, the mounting points and the original part number. Also check whether the plastic rings match the parts installed on your chainsaw.

When installing, clean the mating surfaces of the carburetor and cylinder. Insert the connector without twisting or pressing it. Then properly install the plastic rings and evenly fasten the surrounding parts.

During repair check the carburetor gasket, fuel hose and the pulse channel. After reassembling the saw make sure the engine runs stable at idle and the RPM does not increase on its own.
