Carburetor intake connector for Chinese trimmer / brushcutter BC360 36мм kit (+gaskets, screws)

The BC360 carburetor intake connector is designed to replace a cracked, deformed, or leaking intake joint of a Chinese brushcutter. It is mounted between the carburetor and the engine intake port and forms a sealed channel through which the fuel and air mixture enters the cylinder.

The new Winzor aftermarket kit includes the carburetor intake connector, matching sealing gaskets and mounting screws. Carburetor is not included.

The stated 36mm dimension refers to the cylinder bore, not the engine displacement. The typical 1E36F-2 engine has a cylinder bore and piston stroke of 36 × 32mm, and a displacement of about 32,6 cm³. It is a single-cylinder, air-cooled two-stroke petrol engine with a diaphragm carburetor. Technical specifications can be checked on the 1E36F-2 engine manufacturer's page.

When should you replace the connector?

The connector is constantly exposed to engine heat and vibration. It can also be damaged when removing the carburetor or by over-tightening the mounting screws. A deformed connector does not allow the gaskets to properly press the sealing surfaces.

An intake leak allows extra air into the engine. As a result, the brushcutter may be difficult to start, run unstable at idle, respond slowly to throttle, or lose power. A leak may also excessively lean the fuel mixture.

Before installation, remove old gasket residues and clean the sealing surfaces. Install the new gaskets in the correct orientation, align the connector precisely, and tighten the screws evenly. Do not overtighten, as the connector may deform or crack.

Before ordering, compare the shape of the connector, the intake port, the distance between mounting holes and the arrangement of gaskets with the old part.
