Brushcutter / trimmer flywheel Oleo-Mac SP42 / 44 PRO

This Oleo-Mac Sparta 42 flywheel – a non-original part, intended for brushcutters which use the 61250014AR ignition system version.

In the official Oleo-Mac Sparta 44 parts catalog, the 61250014AR flywheel is used together with ignition coil 61250015CR and wire 61250047R. The same flywheel is also listed for some Sparta 42 versions.

Important Sparta 42 Difference

This is where the old product name was too simplistic. The Sparta 42 has two different flywheel versions.

61202039A
61250014AR

This flywheel is the 61250014AR version and does not replace 61202039A. Therefore, the fact that the brushcutter is a Sparta 42 is not sufficient. You need to check which ignition system version is installed.

The 61250014AR system uses ignition coil 61250015CR, so its number also helps accurately distinguish this version.

The flywheel rotates with the crankshaft, and the magnet in it works with the ignition coil. A damaged keyway groove, hub or magnetic part of the flywheel can cause incorrect ignition timing, vibration or an unstable spark.

Before installation, check the crankshaft taper, key and its groove. After installing the flywheel, the nut must be tightened according to the manufacturer's requirements, and the gap between the flywheel and the ignition coil set according to Oleo-Mac technical data.
