Model and Part Check
When selecting the part use the full equipment model name and the number remaining on the old carburetor.
Before installation compare:
Mounting hole spacing
Intake port diameter and shape
Position of the fuel lines
Throttle lever position
Choke mechanism
Locations of the high, low and idle mixture screwsThe CLS-4600 and CLS-4610 have different drive shaft and cutting attachment parts, however their factory catalogue lists the same 12300047532 carburetor assembly.
Installation Check
When removing the old carburetor inspect both intake gaskets and the carburetor insulator. Replace hardened, cracked or compressed sealing parts before fitting the new carburetor.
Connect the fuel hose and throttle linkage in the same positions as on the original assembly. Then manually check that the throttle fully opens and returns freely.
After assembly check the fuel connections for leaks. Warm up the engine and carry out final idle, low and high speed mixture adjustments according to the specific model's repair data.
